Even Louie's at it !
Look how beautifully Reception decorated their Christmas Tree !

The children wanted to make a 'poofey' christmas tree for our display board.Thomas,Harley and Jasmine got to work cutting strips of green card and ribbon to loop and place on our triangle.

Look a sticky out circle !

We finished it off with a star and real working light .... now to finish off our name lights !

Day 6 of our Christmas countdown started with lots of glitter, paint and fun !

In Reception we have got christmas fever already :-) which was only exacerbated by our annual christmas craft afternoon. The children and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many parents, grandparents and siblings.Thank you for all your help!

In Reception we had something for all ages!
Little brothers, Mummys and Daddys all crowded round our Giant Colouring tree... The children couldnt wait to get started .... perhaps the glitter needs to come out next?

Bauble decorating proved very popular the children even applied our learning in patterns , great stuff !

Mrs Beard I think our lovely patterned paperchain needs silver glitter and lots of it !

Reception were brilliant hosts and couldn't wait to show their family around!

Every artist needs a break !

Reception are blogging their socks off !!

Olivia's first blog

I think it is a volcano because it is steaming hot and when it is night time the volcano gets blocked. There is an insect climbing in it. The top of the volcano burns. The blue bit looks like a volcano light. There are stars in the sky and a white bit which leads you to treasure.

Orla
This picture looks like a mountain on fire at night time, with a shooting star above it.

David-George

I see a burning thing, fire, theres stars, it is getting night time. I think you'll get burned but if you do you get ice cubes and...(going into the kitchen) ....and this! (Bringing me the clingfilm)

Introducing Pizza Pages!....
when the children have a spare moment they can take a sound sheet from the fred table and work on their perfect pink letter formations. Once they have finished they put it in our pizza box and when its full ,Mrs Beard will pick one at random and give a prize.
The children have got to be in it, to win it !
